the exact requirements were obtained. The ‘Anytime, Any Place,
Anywhere’ access requirements meant that the Solution has to
be totally public internet accessible and using only standard
web tools available on any PC, even an Internet café. As
Project teams could consist of many different people, including
other external parties, personalisation and segregation of
content was required. PMS worked with the clients technical
teams to implement a portable, personalised certificate based
Solution, based on standard internet tools, i.e. the ultimate
thin client. A Content Management System was used to manage the
individual project content. The result was a totally secure
content store, accessible from any PC and where the user saw
only the information to which they had access to. White Knight
hacking attempts were totally unsuccessful. The Client is now
able to provide a single source of project information to the
entire extended project team in a secure way. |
